This is for the art trade with my dear friend
, Vera. She asked for a snail, and I wanted to make something special for her since she's one of my very earliest of friends on dA when I knew practically nobody here. I'm sorry it took me this long. XD I'm incapable of being quick or timely with those things.
Anyhow, I wanted to do a digitally colored version of these guys, originally from my Sketchbook Project 2011, who were drawn in biro and colored pencils exclusively, but I wanted to stay with the traditional look. I like the way this turned out, and I hope Vera-chan likes this, too.
