"Samsara - version 2" -- pen and pencil drawing, highlighted and tinted digitally in Corel Painter
Took the scan of the original drawing, gave it an overall tint as if it was drawn on a lavender paper, then freehanded with "wash", "salt", "soft chacoal" in maroons, browns, and white, using a tablet. I really like crossing over by starting a piece all traditionally on a piece of paper and tinting it later digitally. I don't have to wait for anything to dry, and most importantly, it allows experimentation. I've said this before, but I'll say it again -- "Undo" is the best thing ever in digital art.
